Namaste! Hello! Merhaba!

I knew that someday our paths would cross. First of all, thank you for stopping by. I am pleased and honored that you are curious to know about me. (You are curious, right?) My name is Divya aka Nebula, and I am from a far away Galaxy.

Got a job but no idea how to do that. Trying my best not to get fired.
Have a fickle heart running in all directions at the same time.
A talkative introvert – who has got a lot of thoughts to share but no one in mind on whom to shower. So, here I am!
I love to read books, blogs, poems, and even songs. In fact, I prefer anything that keeps me at a safe distance from others. Not so far and not so close.
You can trust me, I don’t or rather can’t lie. I prefer to hide. Everyone has their own way.

A secret: Although I am an introvert but once I am comfortable enough, I spill out everything that’s inside me. It is always followed by a blush or embarrassment. The dawning realization – “I should not have blurted that out”. Then at night lying in bed, I cringe as my mind replays that very incident on loop. I feel an urge to run – away from everyone, away from this place to a strange land, may be to Saturn where I can bury myself. So, do ask me politely to shut up!

I am on a quest to explore me, know who I am and then accept it, write down all my weird dreams, share my stories, and enjoy what I fantasize about in my creations. This writing venture is a special hand that I can hold on for the rest of my life, and it will never ask me to leave.

  3. Hi, Divya aka Nebula. Hello, Ni hao, Buenos Dias. A few of my greetings to go with your Yoga and Turkish, haha. I am an Englishman, living in Spain but teaching English to Spanish and Chinese students.
    I loved this post, but I thought I would say that introverts haven’t cornered the market on inappropriate gushing and later embarrassment. Most people would consider me to be extrovert, which is mainly true. However, I’m also a sensitive soul and a deep thinker. Consequently, my extrovert nature can often lead me to say something (often for a cheap laugh) that I later have angst over, when my sensitive side comes into action.
    I really like the way you write, which I imagine is very much like who you are as a person.

      I thought a lot, came with many drafts (yes, for this reply), and finally wondered if it is at all related to being introvert/ extrovert or like others, I also have got a complicated personality. I know that I overthink and cover it up by referring to me as a ‘contemplator’. I don’t prefer a crowd (>2 people), but even with those few friends, I wonder if I should share something or not (eg- a dance move). And before that contemplator can stop me from sharing, I quickly share it.
      With all that said, I am indeed a likable person. 🙈 Again thank you for taking the time to read and comment. Take care.

      1. Ni Hoa Ma….is How are you? in Mandarin, Chinese. Buenos Dias is “Good day” in Spanish. I am English, live in Spain and teach English to Chinese students (hence the tiny bit of Chinese that I know).
